This unique form of product placement/advertising exposure is only found in one place:

The Price Is Right offers two ways of participation:

ONE-BID PARTICIPATION

The format for The Price Is Right calls for four contestants to be chosen from the studio audience to "bid" on the price of items. The contestant that guesses closest without going over win that prize and the right to come up on stage and play for more cash or prizes. As a "One-Bid" participant, your product will be packaged with another item and receive approximately 8-seconds of exposure while being seen "live" on the set of the show. You are required to furnish the product along with 18-22 words of descriptive audio copy that is read by the studio announcer. Additionally, there is a promotional fee charged for each participation

PRICING GAME PARTICIPATION

Once on stage, contestants play a number of different "games" many of which involve the predicting of prices for various products. As a pricing game participant, your product can be featured "live" on the set with 18-22 words of descriptive audio copy read by the studio announcer. Many of these product pricing games require the show to cut back to the product after it is initially described to allow the contestant to actually guess the price and then again when the actual price is revealed. In many cases, this increases the exposure time up to an additional 10-Seconds! Besides offering the products as gift awards, each participation requires a promotional fee to be charged for each participation.
